- Do I need to book an appointment?
- I cannot guarantee availability for walk in appointments so it is best to book your preferred date and time online. If you don’t see an appointment that works for you, feel free to reach out and I’ll see what I can do!
- How do I know what service to book?
- If you’re unsure which service is right for you, don’t stress! You can send me a message before booking and I’m happy to help you choose the best option.
- What happens if I’m late?
- Because appointments are scheduled close together, arriving late may shorten your service. If you’re more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and applicable fees may apply.
- How should I prepare for a Brazilian Wax?
- Gently Exfoliate the area 24-48 hours before your scheduled appointment. Other than that, take a deep breath and come as you are.
- How long does my hair need to be?
- Your hair should be approximately ¼ inch long, about the length of a grain of rice. This usually means allowing about 2–3 weeks of growth after shaving or trimming.
- Can I still get a Brazilian if I’m on my period?
- Yes! You can still receive a Brazilian while on your period. It has never and will never be an issue for me. All I ask is that you wear a tampon or menstrual cup during your appointment to allow the wax to adhere properly to the skin and hair.
- What if I have sensitive skin?
- All products used for any service are specifically designed for sensitive skin. During your appointment I will examine your skin and make any adjustments needed. You’re in good hands!
But please let me know if you have any severe allergies and any medications you may be taking.
- What do I need to avoid after my wax?
- Aftercare will be discussed during your appointment but in order to prepare your schedule, here are the things you’ll need to avoid:
Sun Exposure/Tanning Beds
Intercourse
Excessively hot showers
Hot Tubs/Saunas/Pools
Sweating/Exercising
Tight Clothing
- How often should I get waxed?
- For the best results, I recommend maintaining a consistent 4-5 week waxing schedule. Consistency can help your hair grow back finer and more evenly, reduce pain each visit, and gives you longer lasting results.
- Is this a judgement free business?
- 100%. Whether it’s your first wax or your 50th, you never have to worry about being judged here. Bodies are bodies, and my goal is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and cared for, not self-conscious. Come exactly as you are.
- What do I do when I get there?
- When you arrive, please make yourself comfortable in the front lobby and I’ll come meet you shortly. If you know where my suite is located and the door is open, come on in!
- How can I pay?
- When booking online you will enter a card on file. This does not get charged until after your appointment or for cancellation fees.
Preferred forms of payment are:
Venmo
Cashapp
PayPal
Cash (no change available)
- Do I have to tip?
- Tipping is always optional but it’s very appreciated!
